Tustin is in the center of Orange County, encompassing an area of 11.02 square miles and contains prime commercial, industrial and residential developments a few miles north of John Wayne Airport. Much like the glorious old trees that grace its landscape, Tustin is rooted in the past. Its early heritage is embodied by the captivating historic homes and commercial storefronts along the streets of Old Town. But also like its many grand old homes and trees, Tustin continues to flourish with existing and new communities, modern shopping centers and in its diverse industrial base, ever reaching out to the future.
Tustin Old Town is an area centered around a group of historic buildings located on Main Street and El Camino Real which date back to the 1880s, making it one of the oldest towns in Orange County. Among the early businesses and structures in Tustin were a blacksmith shop, a combined grocery store/meat market, a business and feed store building, churches and school buildings. The present day museum is located in a historic old building which has housed many businesses over the decades.
Tustin Ranch is a beautiful master-planned community by the Irvine Company is situated inthe south and southeastern Tustin area. It is home to great shopping, entertainment, dining, and the renowned Tustin Ranch Golf Course.
